The company announced additional sizes between its Cooper Discoverer® Rugged Trek™ and Discoverer® STT Pro™ lines at SEMA 14
LAS VEGAS, November 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — At the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company introduced the largest tires to date in their Cooper Discoverer® Rugged Trek™ tire line. Designed for raised pickup trucks, these all-new, full-size tires have a signature Cooper knife edge and Mountain Pass customizable sidewall designs and will be available to consumers in early 2023.

“Flotation” tires like the Cooper Discoverer® Rugged Trek™, which are designed to handle more air mass, perform well on softer surfaces and offer a pleasing look, are becoming increasingly popular with off-road enthusiasts. The new 37×12.50R20LT Discoverer® Rugged Trek™ Flotation tire is part of a 10 size expansion that began in Summer 2022 and will continue through Q1 2023. Featuring deeper tread blocks to improve off-road traction and strengthen the tire Tread Life, the Cooper Discoverer® Rugged Trek™ offers a competitive Limited Tread Life Warranty and 55,000 mile Limited Treadwear Warranty for flotation tires.
In keeping with Cooper’s focus on the sizes that off-road enthusiasts want, the company also introduced four newly developed flotation sizes for the popular Cooper Discoverer® STT Pro™, including the 35X12.50R22LT LRF, 33X12.50R20LT LRF, and 35X12.50R18LT LRD 35X12.50R17LT LRE sizes.
Offering exceptional traction and performance on even the roughest terrain, the Cooper Discoverer® STT Pro™ features Cooper’s proprietary Armor-Tek3 carcass construction for durability and protection from damage on the trails.
