BIG Event Gala: An evening full of splendor and generosity

Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County to honor supporters and community members who have gone above and beyond to support the organization’s mission of impacting the lives of children. In other words, they want to ignite, empower and defend the potential of the at-risk youth included in their programs. Every ticket purchased includes dinner and an open bar. There will also be a champagne raffle! Enter to donate to a good cause and have a chance to win some high-end prizes.

Comedy show on Friday night

Cricket Comedy is ready to get the laughs going at The Bar this weekend at 1720! Let Keith Purnell, Buddy Harris and Eddie Gallagher entertain you for the night. Homesteading 101: Cider Presses

Kicking off November, learn from Farmer Jim as he talks about a way the Pennsylvania Germans preserved apples! He’ll show you around a restored 19th-century apple press, where you’ll learn about the many ancient apple varieties and how the juice of this wonderful fruit was preserved before the age of pasteurization and refrigeration. Everyone is welcome to this free event! No registration is required.

Photo sessions just in time for the holidays

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to get your Christmas card photos in the works before it’s too late. Sign up for a photo session with an experienced volunteer photographer this weekend between 10am and 5pm. A 30-minute session for $60 included three sets. Attend this evening event in support of the Bucks Student Emergency Fund and Bucks Students 2022 Honorees: Gladys Mendieta White & Bob White. Celebrate apple season with Peddler’s Village this weekend for their 47th Annual Apple Festival from 10am to 6pm. This is an outdoor event, rain or shine, and it’s free! All attractions and food are subject to usage and the village shops are also open until 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Some activities include live music, magic shows, face painting and more!
