Roosevelt’s Pesky Site Inspection Delayed – Wednesday Journal | CarTailz

The Village of Oak Park delayed its inspection of the former Associated Tire & Battery property at 6200-6210 Roosevelt Road to give the last tenant more time to remove their vehicles from the property. The use of the ground floor of the property as a storage area is not permitted due to the zoning.

The inspection was due to take place on October 18, according to a September 12 letter to the tenant, who has since been identified as Brian Kamar. An identical letter was sent to the owner of the property, Polar Properties LLC, on the same day.

However, a day before the inspection, Kamar called the Oak Park Village Development Customer Service Department and asked for the inspection to be rescheduled, Tammie Grossman, the department’s chief, told the Wednesday Journal.
